Literature: Harper Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird, Part Two: The Trial of Tom Robinson
Language Work: TKM Vocabulary # 5 & 6
I-Search Penultimate Draft: Hand in completed draft ASAP, edited to the very best of your ability, with new sections or additions bracketed for me to look at more carefully. I will skim the rest. The later you submit this, the less likely you are to be able to hand in your paper on time.
I-Search Final Drafts: Everything must be done by Tuesday, May 22nd. See and use the check list on the back. Penalty of 5 points a day for lateness. This includes final letters - PLEASE!

We are all different in so many ways, and that is what makes our school, our community, and our world so interesting. Let the two classroom posters guide all of us to respect each other and ourselves, recognizing that even small acts of meanness or humiliation get in the way of everyone's learning and growth. The greatest gift we can give each other is authentic respect.
